From the Pacific Northwest, the Brudi Brothers blend rock with soulful blues and a touch of funk, creating a sound that’s both raw and melodic. This dynamic Americana band includes a tight rhythm section, paired with electrifying guitar riffs and strong vocals, keeping the audience energized. Tolls descend from the Pacific Northwest, turning up the heat on a return visit to Chico. You’ll hear a blend of indie rock, post-punk, and experimental sounds. Also performing will be local bands Facejug, Exposure Therapy (shown here) and Regime delivering alternative/indie and punk rock. This is an all-ages show, $10 at the door. Heroes vs Villains – Pup Crawl

Translation: You enjoy specialty drinks in various bars in downtown Chico with ticket proceeds going to the pups and kitties at Butte Humane Society. Even more fun if you dress up to match this year’s theme: hero or villain. Meet at Headquarters — the back patio of Argus Bar for your instructions. Online tickets are available until 4pm on May 30 for $25, according to the BHS website. Fantastic Negrito with The Saviors of New York

Fantastic Negrito (shown here), known for his fusion of blues, rock, and soul, is a multi-instrumentalist. He rediscovered his musical voice after a life-changing accident early in his career. The genre-defying sound of this Grammy Award-winner often includes deeply personal and socially conscious lyrics. Also at this show will be Saviors of New York, a Vermont-based band known for blending post-rock with elements of melodic metalcore. Tickets cost $32.64–$48.48.
