The Crucible

Travel back with this stage production as Chico State performers recreate Arthur Miller’s play about the Salem witch trials of the 1690s. You’ll witness nearly 30 actors and performers bring this American story to life that serves as a modern-day allegory about persecuted people. Tickets $22 for adults, $20 for seniors, $10 for youth 17-years-old and under and Chico State students.

Butte County Wine Trail 2024

Get a taste of wine and Butte County by celebrating the end of harvest season with nine different wineries! This weekend road trip is the perfect chance for wine lovers 21 and older to explore the county and meet local winemakers. Participants will receive a passport map to check off each winery they visit. Tickets are $35 for single individuals and $60 for couples. All ticket proceeds benefit Butte County Fire Safe Council.

Andy Grammer Greater Than: A One Man Show

Listen to an evening of music, poetry and storytelling as an Emmy award-winning, multi-platinum artist plays his pop anthems at full volume. Grammer has amassed over three billion global streams and has over four million followers on social media. His most recent album Naïve has been followed up with new songs such as “Saved My Life,” “Good Man,” and “Joy,” to name a few. Check the CN&R calendar for more info.

Chico Concours Car Show

If you’re a fan of classic cars and hoping to connect with other vehicle enthusiasts, this event is the place for you. The annual fundraising show features music, entertainment and a display of unique, awesome vehicles. This year’s event is celebrating 60 years of Mustang and 75 years of Porsche. The Chico Concours d’Elegance was founded in 1979 as the brainchild of Todd Radke, a local car lover and events promoter. Check the CN&R calendar for more info.

The Marshall Tucker Band

A classy hotel, tasty food, drinks and Southern rock tunes from a classic band to get buck wild with. The multi-platinum selling Marshall Tucker Band started out in Spartanburg, South Carolina in 1972.
