Life is short, get out there and have some fun!
Toubab Krewe & Wolfthump
Lost on Main
319 Main St.
If a band says its music is “impossible to put into any box,” chances are they actually fit quite neatly within the walls of “jam band.” For Toubab Krewe that doesn’t mean their sound is limited, it just means like other great jammers their compositions aren’t confined by genres or running times. The instrumental four-piece from North Carolina plays dance-friendly tunes that comprise the breadth of world music sounds and they don’t stop until the bar shuts down. Opening the party tonight (Thursday, March 14, 8 p.m.) is local percussion collective, Wolfthump. Tickets: $15-$20.
American Ballet Theatre
