Paradise premiere

Ron Howard's documentary on Camp Fire recovery out July 31

This Friday (July 31), Rebuilding Paradise, the Camp Fire documentary by Ron Howard will be officially released, both online and in select theaters.

The Academy Award-winning director—who has relatives who used to live in Paradise—spent a year in the town post-fire, documenting recovery and following the community’s attempts to rebuild.

Rebuilding Paradise premiered at the Sundance Film Festival on Jan. 24, and last month, locals who were impacted by the fire were given the opportunity to pre-screen it online.

Starting Friday, the documentary will be available via various streaming outlets, including the website of the Pageant Theatre and its Virtual Screening Room.
