Based in Chico and touring the entire west coast, Blü Egyptian creates a non-stop dance frenzy that you won’t be able to resist. This is a free, all-ages show. Doug Love (guitar), Brian Burtenshaw (button accordion) Rich Reiner (mandolin) and Rebecca Herring Reiner (bass) are the four coyotes. They promise a relaxing evening as they play acoustic old blues, gospel, Texas troubadours, and honky tonk. $5 cash at the door.

John Bidwell in US and California History

In their ongoing lecture series, the CHM presents The Remarkable Legacy of a Humble Progressive: John Bidwell’s involvement in US and California history. Former tour guide and supervisor at Bidwell Mansion State Historic Park, Amber Drake will share Bidwell’s place in California history. Some permanent exhibits are available for viewing. The Garden plus Iceage

These SoCal boys are known for their fast, punk-influenced style using guitar and drums. The Garden (pictured) has toured North America, Europe, parts of Asia and the Pacific and cites influence from rappers, country and punk rock bands. Opening the show is Iceage, Danish punk-rockers hailing from Copenhagen, with five albums to their credit. Tickets available online and locally at Diamond W Western Wear, downtown Chico. Emma & Will

You’ll be taking a musical journey with Emma and Will as their versatile performance includes guitar, fiddle, harmonica and vocals. The Butte County duo has some originals, but also covers such artists as Amy Winehouse, Johnny Cash, Billie Eilish, Weezer, Green Day, Eagles, Van Morrison and many more. This all-ages event is free.
