Jimmy Becker on the Ridge

Guitarist, vocalist, performer and songwriter Jimmy Becker will rock the stage. Veteran guitarist Becker plays as a solo performer and in several bands, like the touring acoustic duo Deep Fried Bubblegum. Jam out to some blues, country, R&B and rock ‘n’ roll at this electric show. Becker will play three hours of classic rock and a few original songs. Tennessee River – Tribute to Alabama

In 2002, a group of dedicated fans decided to pay tribute to the famous country band Alabama. The end result was a strong cross-over seven-part harmony project who wanted to give Alabama the tribute project they felt it deserved. Take a gander at the unique sound they produce about love, relationships and the everyday rituals of life to give yourself a reason to sing and dance. From Asbury Park, New Jersey, a quintet emerged from the town’s musical history to build a fusion of funk, jazz, rock ‘n’ roll and psychedelia. All these elements come together to form an original vibe that brings back memories of days past. Using collaboratively built soundscapes, their songs tell stories from their own personal experiences. Tickets $20 presale; $25 day of show.

School’s back in session, so get ready for this Back to School Bass Bash, featuring multiple artists and genres. Dirt Monkey, the alias of Patrick Megeath, performs dubstep, house, drum and bass and more. His electric show will be supported with performances from Vbrvms, Gerdy and Alex Smith. MLK Day Chico Celebration “Why We Can’t Wait”

Celebrate the legendary civil rights icon at this free family event. The MLK Unity group and St. John’s Episcopal Church are bringing a community choir, multiple vendors, art pieces, music and dancers to honor Dr. Martin Luther King’s legacy.
