Chico Bike Party’s XXXMAS LYTE RYDE

Calling all cyclists to brighten up the streets with wheels and lights during this annual nighttime Christmas lights tour. Ride your bike with this party to Songbird Lane for candy canes. There will be designated meet-up spots at Enloe Health Park at around 7:15pm and a backyard at 8th Ave and the Meadow Road roundabout at approximately 7:30pm. Candlelight: Holiday Special Featuring “The Nutcracker” & More

Santa isn’t in town just yet, but a live multi-sensory musical experience, Candlelight, presented by Fever will be. Music inspired by the winter and holiday spirit will be performed by the Listeso String Quartet in a room lit only by candlelight. The tentative program includes pieces such as: Hark the Herald Angels Sing, Deck the Halls, Joy to the World and more. Late entry not permitted. Christmastime with Heirloom

It’s end of the school semester so celebrate with Heirloom, a Chico group of four young musicians. The quartet plays everything from Jazz, Rock and Americana. Formed during the summer of 2020 when aching to play music after the lockdowns, their first EP is in the works. Heirloom’s love of music will get you dancing. $5 cover.

Late Night with Krampus

Late night TV shows can be repetitive after a while. In this set-up the Christmas demon Krampus is asked to host a local late night TV talk show and learns what sucks about the holidays. Orphan Christmas Dinner

Chico Rescue Mission

This event, hosted by Chico Rescue Mission, is their first annual Orphan Christmas Dinner. Chow down on a traditional holiday meal while listening to live music and having an opportunity to connect with community members, volunteers and staff. The event is open to individuals who are experiencing homelessness, without family, or facing financial difficulties this season. The event is also calling on local businesses, organizations and individuals to support the event through food, cash donations or volunteering.
