Adapted from Charles Dickens’ famous novella, A Christmas Carol transports you to the world of the wealthy, lonely miser Ebenezer Scrooge. Contrasted with the poverty endured by his fellow Londoners, it becomes a transformative journey for Scrooge on Christmas Eve as he encounters the ghosts of Christmas Past, Present, and Future. This family-friendly play celebrates the Christmas spirit of joy, kindness and generosity. Tickets: $22.00 to $32.00; Age 17 and under and Chico State Students $17.

World-renowned classical guitarist Yuri Liberzon returns to the intimate setting at monca for this solo concert. The Russian-born recording artist has collaborated with renowned musicians and orchestras around the globe. Known for his technical skills, Yuri is also a music teacher. Roy Rogers & The Delta Rhythm Kings Blues Show

Born in the north state, Rogers’ career took off when the young blues guitarist was invited to tour with John Lee Hooker in 1982. Today, the Grammy-nominated master of Delta blues and the slide guitar tours with his band to festivals worldwide. Pink Martini featuring China Forbes

Crossing several musical styles such as classical, jazz and pop, Pink Martini performs songs in 25 languages. Founded in 1994 by pianist Thomas Lauderdale, this little orchestra is like no other. Featuring a dozen musicians, Pink Martini’s multilingual repertoire has been enjoyed on concert stages throughout the world. Vocalist China Forbes describes their group as “an urban travelogue” and having the unique diplomatic opportunity representing America while performing abroad.
