WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING The DJ Arts Academy supplies all the equipment that you'll need for class including turntables/CD players, mixer, needles, speakers, records, headphones, and a soundsystem. We ask all students to bring a notebook, a pen, and music that they enjoy to every lesson. For all students taking the Digital DJ 1 or 2 classes, we have a computer for you to use, but feel free to bring in your own laptops. WHAT WE OFFER All DJ classes are one on one: Our unrivaled personal attention will get you mixing in no time. We teach you how to DJ with any style you choose- records, CDs, or Serato Scratch Live digital DJ software. Our faculty is extremely experienced and knowledgeable in all aspects of DJing including mixtape, club, radio, battle, and mobile DJing. Learn to mix many different genres including HipHop, House, Electro, Top 40, Funk, Reggae, Salsa, Soul, RnB, and more. Lessons are hand tailored for each student: This ensures that our students learn exactly what they need to achieve their DJ goals. Once you are enrolled in a class, head to the main campus for FREE practice sessions. Use our equipment outside of regular class times to practice and improve your skills. LITTLE TREASURES PRESCHOOL is open Monday thru Friday 6:30 am to 6:00 pm. Our goal is to make learning fun in a safe and nurturing environment. We believe that the process of learning is more important than the project created. We have an open door policy and invite you to come in and visit.
INFANT ROOM Our infant program is designed to care for children between the ages of six week to two years old. We provide a small intimate environment with few interuptions throughout the day. Each infant is provided with their own crib. They are intorduced to music/movement, sensory, spanish, art, literature and language arts, and socialization at basic levels. Activities in this room are both teacher directed and child directed. Both the classroom and play yard are designed specifically for this age of children to discover their surroundings. Our toys, floors, play equipment, and restroom are sanitized numerous times daily. 2 YEAR ROOM This program is designed to care for children between the ages of two to three years old. Children are able to tumble and play, in addition to their normal curriculum. We provide an exciting and stimulating environment for your child to explore. There are areas designated for eating, playing, napping, and diapering to provide your child a sense of consistency. We also assist in potty training. Our toys, floors, play equipment, and restroom facilites are sanitized numerous times daily. PRESCHOOL ROOM Our preschool program is designed to care for children between the ages of three to five years old. We include a prekindergarten readiness program for children one year prior to kindergarten enrollment. In our preschool room, we provide an exciting and stimulating environment for your child to explore in safely. There are places designated for eating, playing, and napping, to provide your child with a sense of consistency. Our toys, floors, play equipment, and restroom facilites are sanitized numerous times daily. Eating areas are cleaned as soon as a child is done in that area. Our program includes guidance about language arts, math, science, music, art, and more. We have a Pre-kindergarten readiness program that uses a zoo phonics program to learn letters, sounds, signs, and eventually reading. Spanish lessons are provided twice weekly, free of charge. Nutritious breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snacks are provided and included in the monthly tuition. In addition, school photos are professionally photographed for parents in the fall and spring. School Age Our school age program is designed to accomodate children ranging from six years to twelve years old. Before and afterschool transportation is provided and included in tuition. Our staff assists children with homework as well as provides creative experiences for them while attending our facility. During the Spring, Summer, and Winter breaks; Little Treasures will provide your children with outdoor activities. These may include fieldtrips to the library, local vendors, parks, schools, movie theatre, etc. Other activities may include car washes, recycle drives, change drives as opportunities to earn money for a end of summer party. We want to keep the children busy, and wanting to come to school. We now have openings in the Infant room, 2 year room, preschool room, and School Age Program.
